For Central Troy Historic District Food Tour:
Obtain parking passes from Troy Parking in advance or street parking with kiosk.
Meet on the deck of Brown’s Brewing Company at 11:45. After registration, 12 pm we start with our taste at Brown’s.Walk to Illium Cafe for second taste. Proceed to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for entire Tiffany interior experience. Third taste at little peck’s on Broadway. Fourth taste at Dutch Udder on River Street and end with tea at Whistling Kettle on Broadway. About an 8 minute walk back to Brown’s, if parked in lot near there.
For Historic Downtown Albany Food Tour:
Park in open lot behind the Pump Station and Discover Albany Visitor’s Center, download Park Albany App to make it super easy.
Meet at Discover Albany Visitor’s Center at 25 Quackenbush Square at 12:35 for registration. 12:45 the tour begins, we have our first taste at C.H. Evans at Albany Pump Station. Walk up Clinton Ave. and stop at 2nd oldest Church in NYS, with a lot of historical significance. Head over to Ama Cocina for second taste. Brief stroll to settle our bellies and then head over to The Hollow Bar & Kitchen for two of their signature dishes. Coffee and cider belly doughnuts next at Stack’s Espresso Bar. View some of the mural art in downtown Albany on our way to Olde English Pub for a drink to toast a fun event. This is right across the way from the Visitor’s Center and near where you parked.
This tour is your team's event, we work with you to suit the needs of your team members.
Troy tour: Free parking is available at Uncle Sam’s Atrium Garage or on the street. Allow about 5 extra minutes to get into the garage, Saturdays are busy in Troy for the Waterfront Farmers’ Market.
Albany tour: Parking is available in the public lot behind the Albany Pump Station, very near to our meeting point. Parking costs $1 an hour and the maximum rate is $6. Pay at the machine and put the receipt on your dashboard.
Dinner will be served under a tent, it is a rain or shine event.
Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at all the food-tasting locations.
Our tastes and sips are pre-ordered to be ready for our arrival. To maximize your chances of getting the date and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling. Cash and/or walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted.
